Kat originates from Caherconlish, a small village in County Limerick. Kat obtained an honours Degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2008. After graduating, Kat gained a wealth of experience working in private practice (including team coverage) and in the Harold’s Cross Hospice Rheumatology Department and Rehab Unit before heading further afield to the land down under, Australia, in 2010.
Kat spent the next 5 years working in private practice in the Queensland region in Australia. Here she further developed a large skill set and extensive knowledge and expertise in musculoskeletal conditions and treatments.
Kat’s special interests include the shoulder joint, the knee and pelvic/core stability. Working in Australia allowed Kat to undertake advanced courses in Acupuncture and Segmental Dry Needling and Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates institute. Since moving back to Ireland Kat has continued her training and has completed her course in Ante & Post Natal Pilates and delivers weekly classes to the pre-natal Mums in our Donegal Clinic. Kat is currently undergoing her training to become certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Kat provides the highest quality care to her clients from our Donegal Clinic.
