Aoife comes to us with a wealth of experience….
She graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2011. She then worked in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin for the next seven years gaining valuable experience in all clinical areas including Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Neurology, Stroke Rehab, Care of the Elderly, Plastic Surgery and Women’s Health.
In 2014 she spent 6 months working as a physiotherapist in Melbourne, Australia in a variety of clinical settings. Aoife worked in the role as Senior Physiotherapist in Orthopaedics for three years before returning home to Donegal.
Aoife has completed her Clinical Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute and has completed further courses in the Mulligan technique, the Shoulder Complex and Neurodevelopmental Training. Aoife has developed a keen interest in Women’s Health and having completed post graduate training in the management of Urinary Incontinence and Diastasis Recti.
Aoife was born and raised in Lettermacaward and we are delighted to welcome her back to Donegal and to team Physio Éireann. Appointments can be made to see Aoife in our Killybegs clinic.
